Each chipmunk is handcrafted with attention to detail. I aim to create them realistically in size, feel, and character. After studying and sketching these lively little creatures, I begin by creating a tiny armature from a sturdy floral wire. This framework resembles the anatomy of a chipmunk. The base is then carefully wrapped in wool and needle felted into shape. Whiskers from horsehair and glass eyes are used for an authentic appearance. Choose your favorite chipmunk pose!
