Measures approx 5” tall
Your cardinal is handcrafted with care and attention to detail, and I aim to create them realistically in size and feel. After studying and sketching these birds, I begin by fashioning a small armature from wire. This framework resembles the anatomy of the cardinal. The base is then carefully wrapped in wool and needle felted into shape and "feathered" with rich red wool and silk fibers. Their beaks are sculpted from clay and handpainted.
They are made to your order and will have slight variations.
