Measures approx. 9" tall
How your Barn owl is made: I needle felt a base/core sculpture from wool over a handmade wire armature. The feet are wrapped with wool over the wire armature and shape talons from beeswax. The Barn owl feathers are created from a hand-carded blend of wool and silk fibers. Completed with glass eyes for an authentic appearance. The beak is sculpted in clay, painted in acrylics, and finished with a satin glaze.
