The nest is approx 5-6" in diameter
Baby squirrels fit in the palm of your hand
The base of the nest is needle felted with wool and woven with raffia, twigs, preserved moss, acorn caps, and faux leaves secured. The baby squirrels are needle felted around wire armatures and are also pose-able. While creating the squirrels, I always reference pictures of the real thing.
A unique addition to a needle felt collection or as a focal point on a nature or fall display. Since this item is made to order and very organically shaped, each will be different, but every squirrel and nest will be made with care and attention to detail.
